When I attended the BackStage Event back in August for Stampin' Up! leaders, I participated in some swaps. However, part of the fun of in-person Stampin' Up! events is reconnecting with friends I've made along the way at previous events.
The August event was no different! I received this beautiful card from Leanne Livingstone (aka, Deadrock Stampers). I met Leanne years ago in Houston, Texas at a leadership event.
I knew back in August I wanted to use this beautiful layout, but...as so often happens for me life kinda got in the way!
As I contemplated Christmas cards, I remembered this layout. I knew I wanted to use the gorgeous Designer Series Paper, O Holy Night and this layout seemed perfect for it.
I hope you'll watch the video I put together showing how I assembled this card:
You can find all the supplies I used to make this card below. Though there are specific items that have already sold out, this idea can be used with so many different papers, embossing folders, etc. Truly, the sky is the limit!
I wanted to also share with photos how I cut all the pieces from one quarter-sheet of Basic White embossed cardstock. You'll end up with enough pieces for more than one card.
Start with the die in the center of the embossed cardstock.
Place the die in the upper left. (Note that I've marked the half-way points)
Continue with the lower left.
Move to the upper right.
Move to the lower right.
And, finally get the small lower and upper centers.
