Silhouette Scenes Anniversary FMS #477

 It's been awhile since I've played along with a sketch challenge. So, having a little more time this week, and needing to push myself creatively just a bit I decided to check out Freshly Made Sketches. This week's challenge was a square card challenge, and it's been quite awhile since I've made one. 

Here's what I came up with:

I've had the Silhouette Scenes stamp set for quite some time, and I have to admit that I hadn't even mounted it yet! I just love this couple under the umbrella and it makes the most adorable Anniversary card. Would you agree?

Inside and matching envelope:

Measurements:

Pool Party cardstock: 5" x 10", and scored at 5" along the 10" side

Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper: 4-5/8" and cut diagonally from one corner to the opposite corner

Pretty Peacock cardstock: 3-3/4" square; 4-1/8" square (for inside layer)

Basic White: 3-5/8" square (2); one for inside

1/2" Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon: 7 inches (trimmed at the ends)

Their challenges are so much fun. You should play along as well!

Pampered Pets Gatefold Card

Over the past year or so, I've been regularly participating in a fellow demonstrator's team swaps. They've been a great source of inspiration! They also keep me digging for creativity as well.

This is the swap I put together for this month:

I had a little bit of this adorable pet-themed Designer Series Paper, and wanted to use more of it before it retires the end of April.

 

And, at a recent team meeting our mystery stamping was this gatefold layout. So, perfect combination if you ask me!

Here are the measurement for this card:

Basic Black cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 2-1/8" from both ends along the 8-1/2" side; scrap for 1-1/2" circle punch 

Real Red cardstock: 2 pieces, 2-1/2" x 4"

Basic White cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" for the inside; 2-1/2" x 1-1/2" scrap for the greeting

Playful Pets Designer Series Paper: 2 pieces, 1-7/8" x 5-1/4" (black & white print); 2 pieces, 2-1/4" x 3-3/4" (paw & heart print); 1 dog cut using the coordinating dies (dog print)

Dragonfly Garden March 2021 Customer Thank You Cards

Every month, I make thank you cards for those who order from me. This month I'm a little later than I would like to be, but here is the card layout I'll be sending. I say card layout, because I'll be using different prints from the Dandy Garden Designer Series Papers, and that might mean different colors.

I love how the Designer Series Paper takes the show on the card! You can get so many from just a few sheets of cardstock too! In fact, the layered element behind the Designer Series Paper, will net you 8 from just one sheet of cardstock. 

Measurements for this card:

Basic White Thick cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored at 4-1/4" along the 8-1/2" side

Basic White cardstock: scrap that measures at least 2-1/2" x 2-3/4", for the dragonfly

Blackberry Bliss cardstock: 2-1/8" x 5-3/8"

Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper: 2" x 5-1/4"

Simple Pop-Up Butterfly Birthday Card

Do you like to send Wow birthday cards, but don't want to take a lot of time putting one together? This card layout just might be what you are looking for!

I've seen a lot of cards that pop-up along a horizontal oriented card, but I wanted one that I could use with the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set. And, well, the image I wanted to use is a vertical image.

I didn't add embellishments, didn't color but kept the card fairly simple. Certainly you could add all the extras you desired. I kind of like the simple look.

Measurements:

Misty Moonlight cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4" along the 8-1/2" side

Basic White cardstock: 5" x 8" and scored at 4" along the 8" side; 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" for the greeting; 1/2" x 2-3/4" (keep those scraps when you cut inside layers); 6" x 7" to stamp & cut the butterflies

Butterfly Bijou DSP: 4" x 5-1/4"; 3/4" x 5"
