This past weekend I enjoyed some time away, camping with my husband and our dogs. Some would say we don't "really" camp, since we don't rough-it. Been there, done that!
Anyway, it's taken me longer to post the projects from this months classes and club. They all focused on the new stamp set, Mosaic Madness. The more I use this set, the more it grows on me.
This card was a case from
Deb Currier. I changed the color of card stock and the greeting image (Sassy Salutations, which happens to be on sale @ 25% off through June 30th!) to fit with what I had on hand.
This card is also a direct case, this time from
Tamara Bertram. The only thing I changed was the greeting. Sometimes there just isn't anything to change and someone else has come up with the perfect solution for what you are looking for.
This last project was inspired by a 3-D swap that I received this past year at Convention. Why it didn't stand out to me before now, I don't know. But it was a huge hit with my customers.
It uses just over one sheet of card stock to make plus additional to decorate.
Here are the measurements:
Cover: 2-3/4"x9" (score at 3, 3-1/2, 6-1/2 & 7-inches), 2-3/4"x2"
Pages: 3 pieces that measure 2-3/4"x11" (score each at 2, 5 & 8-inches)
Colored card stock: 2-3/4"x3", 2"x2-3/4"
Designer Series Paper (or more colored card stock): 2-3/4"x3"
Stamps, punches as desired to decorate.
This is how you will fold the pages. Two will be shaped like the above photo, the 3rd will get turned upside down. Attach all 3 so that the short (2" flap) is hidden on the underside.
Here is how I decorated the insides of mine. Just photos and strips of designer series paper. The cover page was done in MDS (My Digital Studio).
Finally, here is a card that I took inspiration from Stampin' Success, a bi-monthly magazine available to Demonstrators. Just another perk of being a demonstrator!
Thanks for stopping by.
