Festival of Prints Cards

Here are 2 cards that I made using the same layout and the same paper stack.  I love the diversity that the Festival of Prints paper stack gives you.  It's available for just a little longer (through January 2nd) from the Holiday Catalog.  

The images are from the stamp set Sassy Salutations and it gives just the right touch of whimsy!  You could use any greeting however.  Add a little trim, and other embellishment and you have a simple card.

Simple Christmas Tags

These cute little tags were a make and take project I planned for a stamping party back in November.  So quick and cute!  Everyone loved them.

Here's what you need to re-create the tags.
6x3-inch rectangles of card stock, scored along the 6-inch side at 3".  This gives you 3-inch square tags that open up so you can write on the inside.  You could just as easily make the tags a single 3-inch square if you wanted to save on paper.
Scraps of Whisper White (or other neutral colored card stock for the images), and coordinating colored card stock for the scallop.

I used a 1/8" circle punch and some Baker's Twine to attach the tags to a package.

Notes:

I cut the note card so that it measured 3-1/2" from one end to the scored middle.  You'll end up cutting just before the score and just after the score, leaving you with 2 pieces that are used to assemble to candle surround.

Mitten Card

I love simple cards, especially at Christmas time when the pace of life gets rather crazy!  This card idea was one in a recent Stampin' Success (a Demonstrator only magazine).  I changed the stamp set and paper, but what a great card.

Holiday Dough Gift

This idea came from searching on Pintrest.  I put the poem into My Digital Studio, printed on my printer, then cut them out using the Sizzix Big-Shot and the Labels Collection Framelits dies.  These are the medium size cellophane bags filled with chocolate coins.  The original idea had dollar bills rolled up and tied with red ribbon.  Cute!

Winter has arrived!

This card looks a bit like it does outside my window this morning.  Winter has arrived in Colorado.  Makes for a great day to be inside stamping!

This was my make & take for the Kindred Inkers group this past Monday.  The theme was winter, and I thought this fit the bill.  You can't see the shimmer that is sprayed onto the image, but it makes it look sparkly like winter snow.
